GoogleMap route dragging becomes unstable when suppressMarkers is set to true

I have a Google Maps and I can add multiple points/stops (waypoints) between the source and destination routes.

Once a route has been created (google.maps.DirectionsService) and placed on the map (google.maps.DirectionsRenderer), you can drag the route midpoints to adjust the route as needed – set draggable = true in the constructor of DirectionsRenderer.

 directiOnsDisplay= new google.maps.DirectionsRenderer({
     suppressMarkers: true,
     draggable:true
 });

The problem is when I change the route between two stops by dragging, and again I want to change the route by dragging the same changed route point, it doesn’t let me.

However, if I set suppressMarkers: false, then it works fine. Since I have to place custom markers I cannot mark suppressMarkers as true.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
