8 states of free transformation in PHOTOSHOP 8 states of free transformation in PHOTOSHOP
In PS, “free transformation” is one of the powerful production methods. Mastering its usage will bring great convenience to your work. Comes with great convenience.
Everyone knows that there is a transformation menu under the Edit menu in PS. Its submenus include zoom, rotation, etc. Beginners often learn by memorizing these menus. The effect is not good.
Here, based on some of my own experience and understanding, I have made a brief summary of “free transformation”, dedicated to beginners
The shortcut key for free transformation: Ctrl T
Function keys: Ctrl, Shift, Alt
The Ctrl key controls free changes; the Shift key controls direction, angle and equal proportions of zooming in and out; the Alt key controls center symmetry.
Do not press the first or third keys:
1. Press the left mouse button on the corner of the deformation box => a free rectangle with unchanged diagonal corners (can be dragged in reverse to form a flip Graphics);
2. Press the left mouse button on the edge of the deformation frame => a free rectangle of equal height or width with unchanged opposite sides;
3. Drag the left mouse button outside the deformation frame = >Free rotation angle, accurate to 0.1 degrees. (Version 5.0 passes “F8” in the “info” information panel; versions 6.0 and above can be defined directly in the option bar)
2. Press Ctrl:
1. Press the left mouse button on the corner of the deformation box = >A free quadrilateral with right angles;
2. Press the left mouse button on the edge point of the deformation box => A free parallelogram with unchanged opposite sides;
3.Ctrl has no effect on the angle.
4. Special case (as shown in the picture), when a corner point is dragged outside the opposite side (sorry, the specific position and angle are not calculated), distortion will appear as shown in the picture.
3. Press Shift:
1. Press and hold the left mouse button on the corner of the deformation box => enlarge or reduce in equal proportions (can be dragged in the opposite direction to form a flipped graphic);
/>2. Press and hold the left mouse button on the edge of the deformation box => (same, that is, no impact);
3. Drag the left mouse button outside the deformation box => 15° incremental rotation angle, which can be 90 °, 180° forward and reverse rotation.
4. Press Alt:
1. Press the left mouse button on the corner point of the deformation frame => center symmetrical free rectangle;
2. Press the left mouse button on the edge point of the deformation frame => center Symmetrical free rectangle of equal height or width;
3.Alt has no effect on the angle.
5. Press Ctrl Shift:
1. Press the left mouse button on the corner of the deformation box => a right-angled trapezoid with right angles;
2. Press the left mouse button on the edge of the deformation box Point => A free parallelogram of equal height or width with unchanged opposite sides;
6. Press Ctrl Alt:
1. Press the left mouse button on the corner point of the deformation box => two adjacent corners A free parallelogram with center symmetry that remains unchanged;
2. Press the left mouse button on the edge point of the deformation box => a free parallelogram with center symmetry that remains unchanged on both adjacent sides;
7. Press Shift Alt:
1. Press the left button of the mouse on the corner point of the deformation frame => a rectangle that is enlarged or reduced in equal proportions with symmetry in the center;
2. Press the left button of the mouse on the edge of the deformation frame => equal height with symmetry in the center Or a free rectangle with equal width (Shift has no effect, same as 4);
3. Only Shift controls the angle.
8. Press Ctrl Shift Alt:
1. Press the left mouse button on the corner point of the deformation box => isosceles trapezoid, triangle or relative isosceles triangle;
2. Press the left mouse button Hold the edge points of the deformation frame => a free parallelogram with symmetrical center and equal height or width.
After transformation
Actually, when you become proficient in using it, you will know
If you can fully understand
“Function keys: Ctrl, Shift, Alt
Among them, the Ctrl key controls free changes; the Shift key controls the direction, angle and proportional zooming in and out; the Alt key controls the center symmetry. “
There is no need to look at the so-called eight changes below.
Being familiar with the three keys Ctrl, Shift, and Alt will also be of great help in controlling other things such as channels, layers, masks, etc.
