Use PS to design a business dragon card – advertising packaging

Look at the renderings first.

Create a new document with custom size and padding # 0b1a30. Open an image and define the pattern.

Create a new layer, fill it with the pattern just defined, ctrl+shift+U to remove the color, change the layer mode to Overlay, and reduce the opacity to 50%.

Create a new layer and draw 2 rectangular selections filled with #e2edf2 and 8ca6b2 respectively.


Drag a dragon image into the document, remove the background, scale it, and cut the pattern inside the small square to a new layer.

Change colors through layer styles.

Enter additional text.

Merge all layers except the background, rotate it at a certain angle, use a straight lasso to make a selection, and invert the selection to delete it.


Invert the selection again, use the soft-angled brush #809da8 to paint on the four corners, and reduce the layer opacity to 40%.

Use the Dodge tool to brush out the highlights.

Use the Dodge tool to highlight the background where the four corners are. The final effect is as follows.
