Create a pixel icon of a game character with Photoshop
Today we use Photoshop to draw a pixel icon of a game character.
1 Create a new picture in Photoshop with a size of 50X50 pixels
2 Select edit edit—>Preset Set preferences—>guides&grid, and set the grid line interval to 1 PIX
3 This will get the picture as shown
4 Enlarge the picture to 700%, so it is easier to draw
5 Select the pencil in the toolbar and set the pencil size to 1 PIX in the property bar
6 Let’s start drawing, first outline the general appearance of the face
7 Draw hair again
8 OK, you can start coloring 🙂
Select the flesh-colored area of the face. Open the picker Color tool, directly enter the hexadecimal color code #FFE3B5 in the color code bar, and fill it with the filler
9 Open the color picker again and enter Code #FFBE8C
Select the pencil tool to outline the dark part of the face to make the face appear three-dimensional
10 Then open the color picker and enter the code #FFD394 for further processing
Line the mouth and nose
11 Start coloring the hair
Select the hair area first, fill it completely with black, then open the color picker and enter the code #525552
Use a pencil to randomly draw a few strips along the hair to make the hair appear layered, and then select Use a pencil to draw the luster of the hair on the white foreground color. Pay attention to making the front part thinner and the back part thicker.
12 Draw eyes according to your imagination
