The following are the materials used in this tutorial
This is the effect I made.
By studying this tutorial, you can master the following points:
1. Use layer clipping masks flexibly in composition, shortcut key Ctrl Alt G
2. Apply filters according to the situation to create realistic effects.
3. Use gradients flexibly to create highlight effects.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the steps:
Step one: The MM photo above is the target of my synthesis, and the tropical seaside picture is my material. Take a look at the target first. If you look carefully, you will find that MM may be taking pictures next to the highway. Our goal is to make the reflection of tropical seaside appear in MM’s sunglasses. Open PS and open MM’s photo (make a good habit of making a backup copy of the image before compositing to avoid damaging the original photo by mistake). Starting from the left eyeglass, use the Lasso or Pen Tool to create a selection as shown in fig01. To make the edges a little smoother, we will smooth the selection by one pixel.
Step 2: Keep the selection and create a new one Layer, name it Left Mirror, and color the layer red. Fill it with black, as shown in fig02
No. Step 3: Drag the material onto MM’s photo, and a new layer will be created, named “Left Reflective”, also using red. At this time, press Ctrl Alt G to create a layer clipping mask, as shown in fig03:
Step 4: Press Ctrl T to freely transform to the appropriate position and size, as shown in fig05:
Step 5: At this point, preliminary results have been achieved. To commemorate the oyster road lamp for protecting the mind?? Lai Mu⑻ Ningxiao? Yiqiang Di Jian Bai Fou lazy castor disease lot? (Why use 65 degrees? I personally think it’s because the glasses in MM’s photo are tilted close to 65 degrees~~ haha)
Step 6: At this point, the reflection in the glasses is flat and not realistic enough. It doesn’t matter. This problem can be solved next.
In the layer panel, press Ctrl and click the “Left Mirror” layer, load the “Left Mirror” selection, return to the “Left Mirror Reflection” layer, execute: Filter > Distort > Spherization, parameter settings Such as fig07, this only affects the pixels within the selection. (Haha: The number of spherical surfaces should not be too large. Sunglasses are not that spherical!)
Step 7: Ctrl D to cancel the selection, copy the “Left Mirror Reflective” layer, name it “Left Mirror Reflective Positive”, and change the layer mode to “Multiply”. It feels a bit dark, so change the opacity to 80%, as shown in fig08:
Step 8: It’s almost done! It seems like something is missing? right! highlight!
In the layers panel, press Ctrl and click the “Left Mirror” layer and load “Select the “Left Mirror” selection, create a new layer on top of all layers, press D to restore PS’s default black and white front and back scenery, press , the reflection effect of the left lens is completed, and I don’t need to say it anymore! Just repeat the previous steps, just increase the opacity of the positive layer to create a different light perception on the left and right.
The above is the process of the original article. Finally, I looked carefully and found that the lens had lost its permeability, so I made a small modification. Lower the opacity of the “left and right mirror” layers a little, and the effect is as follows:
