This tutorial introduces how to create scroll animation. Idea: Just like in the past when making animations, we must first create the physical object of the theme and divide it into different layers to facilitate setting up animations. Then different layers are made according to the animation display effect, and then corresponding to animation in AI. There are a lot of pictures to make, so you need to name the corresponding layers!
Final effect
1. Create a file with a width of 550 and a height of 220, with a transparent background. The file size can be customized. Run the Rectangular Marquee tool and draw a vertical square selection.
2. Execute the gradient tool, click the gradient color box, and open the gradient editor.
Click on the three color stops respectively and adjust them to the gradient color settings as shown in the picture.
3. Drag the mouse horizontally within the selection to fill it with a linear gradient.
4. Ctrl+D to cancel the selection, set the foreground color to a color slightly darker than the gradient, perform an edit stroke of 2 pixels, create a new layer, execute the rectangular marquee tool, draw a vertical square selection above the image, and set a slightly Use a darker gradient color, and then draw a linear gradient for the selection. Execute the elliptical marquee tool and draw an elliptical selection above the newly created graphic. Draw the gradient in the same way. Then link layer two and ctrl+E to link layer three. Merge with layer 2 into one layer.
5. Copy the layer with ctrl+J, perform an edit transformation and flip it vertically. Move the tool and use the mouse or the movement keys on the keyboard to move it to the lower position to form a scroll effect, and then link the two lower layers. , ctrl+E to merge into one layer.
6. Double-click the layer word, rename the layer to the axis, copy the layer, use the move tool to move the two layers to the center of the canvas and arrange them side by side, copy the axis copy, name it the right axis in the same way, and copy the axis layer. Name it the left axis in the same way, and move the left axis under the layer of the right axis. You can see my layer arrangement.
7. First close the left and right painting axis layers, copy the stipple axis layer, ctrl+E to merge upward into one layer, copy the layer, ctrl+T to perform transformation, set the rotation degree to 45 degrees

8. Press Enter to confirm, press the Ail+ctrl+shift keys and then press the T key 6 times to copy several 360-degree rotating layers.
9. In order not to affect our view of the next operation, it is best to hide the layer links that are temporarily not operated.
10. Name it as axis, or it can be defaulted.
11. When we operate later, click on the triangle on the layer to expand all the layers. Now we close the linked layer, open the left and right axis layers above, and create a new layer above the linked layer. Execute the Rectangular Marquee Tool, draw a rectangular selection, and then fill the selection with your favorite color or pattern. Execute Edit Fill, click on the triangle to open the options, and confirm the selection. I will take the fill color as an example. First set the foreground color and then select the foreground color. Scenery options populate.
12. Use ctrl+D to cancel the selection and name the layer Picture Scroll. If you like, you can simply create a background effect for this picture scroll layer. This is optional, and then execute the layer style stroke.
Choose a stroke pattern or color.
13. Set the foreground color, use the text tool to input text, click on the scroll layer, link the text layer, and ctrl+E to merge it into a scroll layer.
14. Use the rectangular marquee tool to draw a selection on the left side of the scroll.
15. Use ctrl+J to copy the selection and create layer one, name it the left scroll, then click on the scroll layer, press the ctrl key and click the mouse on layer one to get the layer one selection, perform selection inverse, and copy the selection with ctrl+J. Create layer two and name it Right Volume.
16. The left and right scrolls and the left and right scrolls are done. Now let’s operate the left scroll first, ctrl+J to copy the left scroll, ctrl+T to perform transformation, and move the horizontal position to the left by 20 pixels. For example, you can see that it is 262 pixels here. Now change this number to 242 pixels, which will move it 20 pixels to the left.
17. Press Enter to confirm, press the Ail+ctrl+shift keys and keep pressing the T key until the drawing axis reaches the leftmost position and the picture scroll cannot be seen.
18. Close all the copy layers of the left axis above, leaving only the left axis layer. Now we operate the right axis in the same way, ctrl+J to copy the right axis, ctrl+T to perform transformation, and move the horizontal position to the right by 20 pixels. For example, look at me Here it’s 288 pixels, and I’m going to change this number to 308 pixels, so that’s 20 pixels to the right.
19. Press Enter to confirm, press the Ail+ctrl+shift key and keep pressing the T key until the scroll reaches the rightmost position and you can no longer see the scroll. Then close all the right scroll layers above, leaving only the right scroll layer. Now we open the second layer from the left copy of the scroll, which is the second scroll layer on the left, close the scroll layer, copy the left scroll layer to create a copy layer, close the left scroll layer, and draw a selection on the left side of the scroll.
20. Press the Delete key on the keyboard to clear the image in the selection. Do not cancel the selection. Hold down the left scroll copy and drag it to the Create New Layer button below. Make a copy of copy two and close the copy layer below (each layer is copied) Then, close the lower layer), open the third layer eye from the left axis, which is the third axis from the left, and press the left and right movement keys on the keyboard to move the selection 20 pixels to the right, that is, press the right Move the key 20 times, and then press the Delete key to clear the image in the selection. Because we moved the scroll axis by 20 pixels before, we need to clear the scroll by moving 20 pixels at a time. If you understand this principle, you will know how to operate it. .
21. Still holding down the left scroll copy two, drag it to the Create New Layer button below, copy copy three, close the second copy layer below, open the fourth left drawing axis eye from the top, and press the left and right movement keys on the keyboard to Move the selection 20 pixels to the right, then press the Delete key to clear the image in the selection. Follow the above operation, and so on, until you reach the middle axis of the drawing.
22. Cancel the selection, open the second layer eye on the right scroll, copy the right scroll, generate a copy of the right scroll, close the right scroll layer, execute the rectangular marquee tool, draw a selection on the right side of the scroll, and press Delete key to clear the image in the selection. Do not cancel the selection. Hold down the right scroll copy of the mouse and drag it to the Create New Layer button below. Make a copy of copy two. Close the copy layer below and open the third layer from the right axis. , which is the third axis on the right. Press the left and right movement keys on the keyboard to move the selection 20 pixels to the left, that is, press the left movement key 20 times, and then press the Delete key to clear the image in the selection. 23. Transfer to animation production
Go to AI in the lower left corner of PS and close all current layers. Click the triangle linking the layers at the bottom of the layer panel to cancel all layer links, copy the frame, and then close the upper layers, leaving only the bottom layer.
24. Copy the frame, open the copy of the scroll, close the scroll layer, and open all eight scrolls in the same way.
25. Copy the frame, close copy seven of the scroll, open the left and right axes, copy the frame, open the top layer of the left scroll, then open the top layer of the right scroll, copy the frame, continue opening the left and right scroll layers downwards , the left and right scroll layers are opened continuously upward. After each scroll and scroll layer is opened, the previous corresponding layer is closed. In the same way, all scrolls and scrolls are expanded.
26. Press the shift key and click on the 11th frame, select all the 11th frame to the last frame, copy the frame, click the triangle in the upper right corner of the frame panel, and select the reverse frame.
27. Set the time of the tenth and last frame to 0.2 seconds, and set the time of the middle two frames (in my case, 23 and 24 frames) of all scrolls to 1 second. Click the play button to see the effect, and save it if you are satisfied.
