Photoshop creates a soft and warm-toned outdoor wedding film – character color grading

Although the original material pictures were taken in the glow, the warm colors are not obvious enough. When processing, you need to use color correction tools to appropriately enhance the warm colors and add some highlights to the parts.

1. Open the original image material, create an optional color adjustment layer, and adjust the yellow, green, and blue. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 1 – 3, and the effect is as shown in Figure 4.

2. Create a curve adjustment layer and adjust red, green, and blue. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 5 – 7, and the effect is as shown in Figure 8.

3. Create a color balance adjustment layer and adjust the midtones and highlights. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 9 and 10, and the effect is as shown in Figure 11.

4. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the yellow. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 12, and the effect is as shown in Figure 13.

5. Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the currently selected color adjustment layer. The effect is as shown below.

6. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, change the layer blending mode to “Multiply”, and change the opacity to: 20%, the effect is as shown below.

7. Press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to bring up the highlight selection, press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection, create a new layer with fill color: #0F637E, change the blending mode to “Multiply”, and change the opacity to: 20 %, the effect is as shown below.

8. Create a curve adjustment layer and adjust the blue color. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 17, and the effect is as shown in Figure 18.

9. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the yellow. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 19, and the effect is as shown in Figure 20.

10. Create a brightness/contrast adjustment layer. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 21, and the effect is as shown in Figure 22.

11. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. Press Ctrl + Shift + U to remove color, press Ctrl + M to darken slightly.��. Change the blending mode to “Multiply”, change the opacity to: 30%, add a layer mask, and use a black brush to erase the middle part, the effect is as shown below.

12. Press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to bring up the highlight selection, create a new layer and fill it with color: #0F637E. Change the blending mode to “Soft Light” and the opacity to: 50%. The effect is as shown below.

13. Create a new layer, change the blending mode to “Screen”, set the foreground color to: #7E2A0F, and use a brush to highlight the selected part in the picture below.

14. Create a curve adjustment layer and adjust the blue color. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 26. After confirmation, reduce the layer opacity appropriately. The effect is as shown in Figure 27.

Finally adjust the overall color to complete the final effect.
