This tutorial introduces how to make a very exquisite navigation bar. The general process: first make the shape of the navigation bar you want, and then set the layer style on the highlight and background parts of the navigation bar to create a crystal texture. You can adjust the details and add text later.
Final effect
1. Open the background material shown in the picture below.
2. Select the “Rounded Rectangle Tool”, select the “Shape Layer” button in the tool options bar that opens, and create a “Shape 1” layer.
3. Add a layer style to the “Shape 1” layer, click the “Projection” item, and set its parameters.
4. Click the “Inner Shadow” item and set its parameters.
5. Click the “Bevel and Emboss” item and set its parameters.
6. Click the “Pattern Overlay” item and set its parameters.
7. Click the “Stroke” item and set its parameters.
8. Press the “OK” button, close the “Layer Style” dialog box, and set the layer “Fill” parameters. The effect is as shown in the figure.
9. Duplicate the “Shape 1” layer to obtain the “Shape 1 Copy” layer, and delete the layer style of the “Shape 1 Copy” layer. The effect is as shown in the figure.
10. Add the “Gradient Overlay” layer style to the “Shape 1” layer and set its parameters.
11. Press the “OK” button, close the “Layer Style” dialog box, and set the “Fill” parameters of the layer. The effect is as shown in the figure.

18. Duplicate the “Shape 1” layer, get the “Shape 1 Copy 2” layer and name it “Highlight”, and delete the layer style of its layer.
19. Rasterize the “Highlight” layer, press the key while clicking the “Shape 1” layer, load it into the selection, move the selection position, and modify the “Highlight” layer .
20, add a layer mask to the “Highlight” layer, and select the “Gradient Tool” to adjust the image.
21. Set the “fill” parameter, the effect is as shown in the figure.
22. Duplicate the “Shape 1” layer, get the “Shape 1 Copy 2” layer and name it “Edge”, and delete the layer style of its layer.
23. Rasterize the “Edge” layer, and trim the “Edge” layer by referring to the method of trimming the “Highlight” layer.
24. Cancel the selection, the effect is as shown in the figure.
25. Set the “fill” parameter, the effect is as shown in the figure.
26. Display the hidden “Group 1” layer group and “Material” layer in the “Layer” palette to complete the production of this example.
