The focus of this tutorial is on the creativity of the text part. You need to use the outline of the rabbit to make 2011 text similar to the shape of a rabbit. Then make it three-dimensional. It uses a lot of layers, so you have to be careful when making it.
Final effect
1. Create a new document of 800 * 600 pixels, fill the background with red: #B30800, create a new layer, use a pen to outline the path of the text, convert it to a selection and fill it with black. The effect is as shown below.
2. Start from the front to the back. Use the pen tool to cut out the “1” in front, press Ctrl + J to copy to a new layer, lock the layer and select the gradient tool. The color settings are as shown in Figure 3. Pull out the linear gradient shown in Figure 4 from top to bottom.
3. Use the pen tool to outline the selection shown in the picture below, press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather 2 pixels, then press Ctrl + J to copy to a new layer, and change the layer blending mode to “Screen”. Press Ctrl + Alt + G to group with the previous layer.
4. Use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, fill it with black, and press Ctrl + Alt + G to group it with the previous layer. The effect is as shown below.
5. Create a new layer, use the pen tool to outline the selection shown in Figure 7, select the gradient tool, set the color as shown in Figure 8, pull out the linear gradient shown in Figure 9 from top to bottom, and use a brush to paint the bottom The color is dark red, as shown in Figure 9.
6. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + G to group it with the previous layer. Then create a new layer below the current layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather it by 2 pixels and fill it with color: #922401.
7. Create a new layer, use the pen tool to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather it by 3 pixels and fill it with color: #CA9C02.
8. Create a new layer, use the pen tool to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather it by 2 pixels and fill it with color: #680719.
9. Create a new layer, use the pen tool to outline the selection shown in the picture below, fill it with dark red, and paint the top and edges with light yellow. The effect is as shown below.
10. Preview the effect, as shown below.
11. Create a new layer below the bottom layer of the current grouped layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather 2 pixels and fill it with orange: #D09E0C, and change the layer blending mode to ” Filter Color”, the effect is as shown below.
12. Create a new layer below the current layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 16, and pull up the linear gradient shown in Figure 17.
13. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + G to group it with the previous layer, then create a new layer below the current layer, outline the selections shown in Figures 18 and 19 respectively, and feather 1 Fill the pixels with an orange color: #F6F257.
14. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather it by 1 pixel and fill it with color: #E99E39, and change the layer blending mode to “Screen”.
15. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 21, and fill it with color: #F6F257. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 22, and fill it with black.
16. The roughly completed effect of the “1” in the front part is as shown below.
17. Use the same method to make other letters. The process is as shown in Figure 24 – 27.
18. Add a shadow to the bottom black layer, the effect is as shown below.
