This example explains the use of PS’s built-in filters to create various glass effects. Different glass effects can be obtained by changing parameters, which is helpful for beginners to understand filters.
Original picture:
1. Open the original image in PS, press Ctrl+J to copy a layer, and use the pen tool to make the path as shown below on the glass door in the material.
2. Convert all paths into selections in the Paths palette, return to the Layers panel and add a layer mask
3. Perform filter operation on layer 1 :
A. Lens blur: Filter → Blur → Lens blur, parameters:
