Final effect
1. Create a new 800 * 800 pixel file and fill the background with dark red: #B20808. Then start making the leaf part, create a new layer, name it “leaf”, use the pen tool to cut out the path of the leaf, as shown in Figure 1, press Ctrl + Enter to make a selection, fill with color: #FAC90D. 
2. Duplicate the “leaf” layer, use the central axis of the leaf as the edge, use a pen to outline the upper part of the leaf, and press Delete to delete it, leaving only the lower part. Then name the layer “Under the Leaf” and hide the leaf layer. The effect is as shown in Figure 2. 
3. Duplicate the “Leaf Below” layer, use the pen tool to cut out the selection shown in Figure 3, press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection, delete the excess, press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection, and select the gradient. Use the tool and color settings as shown in Figure 4 to pull out the gradient shown in Figure 5. 
4. Use the same method to make other small color blocks, as shown in Figures 6 and 7. 
5. Then make small color blocks on the edge of the leaves, as shown in Figures 8 and 9. The finished effect of the lower half of the leaves is as shown in Figure 10. The method seems a bit cumbersome, but in order to highlight the golden texture of the leaves, the leaves need to be divided into small sections. 
7. The upper part of the leaves is made in the same way. The gradient color used is as shown in Figure 11, and the effect is as shown in Figure 12. 
8. Create a new layer on top of the background layer, use the pen tool to cut out the path of the petiole, turn it into a selection as shown in Figure 13, and then apply the gradient color as shown in Figure 14. The roughly completed effect of the leaf is as shown in Figure 15 . 
9. Use the same method to make another leaf, as shown in Figure 16. 
10. Make the third leaf (copy it directly from the first leaf and change the angle), and the effect is as shown in Figure 17. At this point the leaf part is complete, now let’s start with the petal part. 
11. Create a new layer on the top of the layer, use the pen tool to outline the petal path below, and convert it to a selection as shown in Figure 18. Select the gradient tool color setting as shown in Figure 19, and pull out the gradient color as shown in Figure 20. 
12. All petals are made in the same way. First use the pen tool to cut out the path and then add the gradient color. The gradient color changes slightly, you can refer to the renderings. The completed effect of the petals is shown in Figure 21-23. Every time you make a petal, you need to create a new layer to facilitate modification. 
13. Decorate some star brushes, as shown in Figure 24. 
14. Finally, add your favorite background to complete the final effect.
