The production of glassware is relatively difficult to draw. Because the highlights and dark tones of the glass are concentrated on the edges, and the color contrast is relatively strong, sometimes there are more ambient colors. When making, it is best to lay down the colors in layers, first make the dark parts, and then lay down the highlights and ambient colors.
Final effect
1. Create a new document of 800 * 800 pixels and fill the background with white. Create a new layer named “Main Outline”, use a pen to outline the main outline of the teapot, turn it into a selection and fill it with gray: #CCCBCF.
2. Now start with the mouth of the bottle. To create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + G to group it with the previous layer, and then create a new layer below the currently created layer. In this way, all new layers will be grouped with the previous layer. The subsequent operation will be faster. 6. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the highlight area selection on the edge, feather it by 2 pixels and then fill it with color: #D3D2D5. After canceling the selection, add a layer mask, and use a black brush to slightly paint the bottom Transparency effect, as shown below.
7. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the entire dark selection on the right edge, feather it by 1 pixel and fill it with color: #827B87.
8. Create a new layer, return to the bottle mouth, use a pen to outline the highlighted part of the bottle mouth, feather it by 4 pixels and fill it with color: #F2F4F8.
9. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection of the dark part of the top of the bottle mouth as shown below, feather it by 1 pixel and fill it with color: #756B6A.
10. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather it by 8 pixels, and fill it with color: #93818F.
11. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection of the dark part on the left, feather 5 pixels and fill it with color: #95929B. After canceling the selection, use the burn and dodge tools to slightly strengthen the relationship between light and dark.
12. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather 3 pixels and then fill it with color: #A998A7. After canceling the selection, add a layer mask and use a black brush to Apply some transparency effect to the bottom.
13. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather 3 pixels and fill it with color: #716C77. After canceling the selection, add a layer mask, and use a black brush to paint the bottom with transparency. Effect.
14. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in the picture below, feather it by 1 pixel and fill it with color: #76726C.

18. The production process of other highlights and dark parts at the bottom of the bottle is as shown in Figure 19 – 24. A new layer needs to be created for each part. Please refer to the process diagram for specific colors. The rough finished effect of the bottom of the bottle is shown in Figure 25.
19. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 26, select the gradient tool color settings as shown in Figure 27, and pull out the radial gradient from the upper right.
20. After locking the layer, use a brush to highlight the dark parts on the right and bottom, as shown in Figures 28 and 29. There is no need to create a new layer in this step.
21. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection on the liquid surface, and fill it with color: #E8DDD1. After locking the layer, use a brush to highlight the highlights and shadows. The roughly completed effect is as shown in Figure 31.
22. Create a new layer above the background layer and use a pen to outline the selection at the bottom of the bottle mouth, as shown in Figure 32. Fill color: #CCCBCF. Use the same method as above to create the shadow and highlight effects, as shown in Figure 33.
