This tutorial introduces how to make simple flowers. The most difficult part is making the petals. The seemingly simple petals actually have many tiny veins. It still takes patience to make it.
Final effect
1. Create a new 800 * 600 pixel file, select the gradient tool, set the color as shown in Figure 1, and pull out the radial gradient color as shown in Figure 2.
2. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 3, and fill it with white. The effect is as shown in Figure 4.
3. After locking the layer, set the foreground color to: #BFC5C6, select the brush tool, change the brush opacity to: 10%, and paint the dark parts on the petals. The effect is as shown below.
4. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 6, fill it with color: #D3D4D0, and change the layer opacity to: 40%. The effect is as shown in Figure 7.
5. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 8, fill it with white, change the layer opacity to: 30%, add a layer mask, and use a black brush to erase some unnecessary parts Part, the effect is shown in Figure 9.
6. Create a new layer and use the same method to create other petals, as shown in Figures 10 and 11.
7. Continue to make other petals, the effect is as shown below.
8. Create a new layer below the lower right petal layer, use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to pull out the selection shown in Figure 14, press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather 15 pixels, fill color: #879A50, effect As shown in Figure 14, use the brush to add some highlights, and the effect is as shown in Figure 15.
9. Create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 16, fill it with green, and add highlights. The effect is as shown in Figure 17.
10. Use the same method to make other stamens. The results are shown in Figures 18 and 19.
11. Finally, adjust the details and colors as a whole to complete the final effect.
