This tutorial introduces a simple method of coloring pink pictures. The general process: first determine the desired color, then use color balance and other color adjustment tools to adjust the main color, then appropriately enhance the color and level of the picture, and finally add highlights, etc.

1. Open the original image material, create a color balance adjustment layer, and adjust the shadows, midtones, and highlights. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 1 – 3, and the effect is as shown in Figure 4.
2. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust red, yellow, and white. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 5 – 7, and the effect is as shown in Figure 8.
3. Create a new layer, fill it with color: #0D6450, change the layer blending mode to “Color Dodge”, and change the opacity to: 10%. The effect is as shown below.
4. Press Ctrl + J to copy the current fill layer, change the layer blending mode to “Lighten”, and change the opacity to: 60%. The effect is as shown below.
5. Press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to bring up the highlight selection, create a new layer with fill color: #F9F5CD, change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light”, and change the opacity to: 20%. The effect is as shown below.
6. Create a channel mixer adjustment layer and adjust the red color. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 12. After confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 50%. The effect is as shown in Figure 13.
7. Create a new layer, select the gradient tool eye and set it from white to cyan: #81B6AB, and then pull out a radial gradient from the center to the corners. After confirmation, change the layer blending mode to “Multiply” and the opacity to: 60%. Add a layer mask and use a black brush to erase the middle part. The effect is as shown below.
8. Create a curve adjustment layer, adjust red and blue, set the parameters as shown in Figure 15 and 16, and the effect is as shown in Figure 17.
9. Create a new layer, fill it with color: #590F3C, and change the layer blending mode to “Lighten”. The effect is as shown below.
10. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust red, yellow, and white. The parameter settings are as shown in Figures 19 – 21, and the effect is as shown in Figure 22.
11. Create a new layer, change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light”, change the opacity to: 20%, set the foreground color to: #0E5416, use a brush to paint the corners of the picture, the effect As shown below.
12. Create a brightness/contrast adjustment layer. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 24, and the effect is as shown in Figure 25.
13. Create a new layer, change the layer blending mode to “Screen”, set the foreground color to: #0E544D, and use a brush to highlight the selected part of the image below.
Finally adjust the details to complete the final effect.
