PS Advertising Synthesis Example: Speedy Today we plan to make a print advertisement about a car, with the purpose of highlighting the speedy feeling of the car.
After searching like a needle in a haystack, we found two pictures that basically meet the requirements (Picture 01, Picture 02).
You might as well think about how you will use these two pictures. Material pictures,
The design tool is mainly photoshop, and coreldraw is used for titles, copywriting, etc.

Main steps:

1. Background processing;
2. Cut out the car and combine it into the processed background image;
3 , Make a tornado; 4. Layout.

　1． Background processing

　1) Open the material (Figure 01), and copy the “Background Layer” to “Background Copy Layer”. In order to avoid destroying the source material, make a copy of the same layer and perform the operation.

　2) Execute the “Image”/”Adjustment”/”Decolor” command to convert the layer to a grayscale image. (Picture 03)

3) Execute the “Image”/”Adjustment”/”Levels” command (Figure 04), and then execute the “Image”/”Adjustment”/”Curve” command (Figure 05)

Because of the color of the source material The level distribution is uneven and lacks a sense of layering. This can make the bright parts of the image brighter and the dark parts darker, increasing the depth of field and layering of the image.

4) Execute the “Image”/”Canvas Size” command, set the canvas width to 870 pixels, and select the positioning to the right. (Picture 06)

5) Copy the “Background Copy” layer to the “Background Copy 2” layer, and then execute the “Filter”/”Blur”/”Radial Blur” command. This gives the image a sense of vertical speed. (Picture 07)

6) Click the “Add Layer Mask” button under the Layers Panel to add a layer mask to the “Background Copy 2” layer, and then select the “Airbrush” tool , set the foreground color to “r: 45, G: 44, B: 44”, the brush size to “100” pixels, and the pressure to “20%”.

7) Use an airbrush to lightly paint on the nearby road and house on the layer mask of the “Background Copy 2” layer, and then use the blur tool to apply it on the “Background Copy 2” layer. Paint the distant scenery as well. (Picture 08)

Because black on the layer mask means not showing, and white means showing, the place we sprayed with the black spray gun will be covered, thus showing the next layer we have not “Background Copy” layer with “Radial Blur”. The function of applying with the blur tool is to blur the distant scenery and contrast it with the nearby scenery, so that the depth of field of the image is well expressed.

8) Hold down the “Ctrl” key on the keyboard, and then click the “Background Copy” layer on the layer panel to make it a selection, and then execute the “Image”/”Crop” command. Cut off the extra black area where we started executing the canvas size command.

2. Synthesize the car into the processed background image

1) Open the material (Figure 1), and then Use the “Pen” (Path) tool to outline the car (Figure 11)

2) Use the “Add Aim Point” tool to carefully modify the path so that it matches the outline of the car, and then hold down ” Ctrl” key click on the “working path” we just drew on the path panel to convert the path into a selection. Then execute the “Edit”/”Copy” command.
　3. Make a tornado

1) Create a new layer and use the polygon selection tool to draw a polygon (Figure 12)

2) Execute “Filter”/”Distort”/”Shear” (Figure 13)
　3) Use an airbrush to decorate it slightly.

　4． Layout

I made the titles, copywriting, etc. in the works in CorelDraw and then exported them and synthesized them in Photoshop. I hate the controllability and layout capabilities of Photoshop. This In terms of coreldraw it is far better than N times. (Figure 14)
