1. Create a white background canvas with a length and width of 35 pixels * 35 pixels. Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool, select “Add to Selection” in the settings bar, and then create a 1 pixel wide border selection along the edge of the canvas. Zooming out the view here will make it easier to operate.
2. Fill the selection with color #020202, then press Ctrl+D to cancel the selection.
3. Then repeat the above steps three times, the difference is to gradually create a border inward, with a width of 1 pixel, and the fill colors are #373737, #bababa, and #f7f7f7. The effect is as shown in the picture below.
4. After completing the above steps, select “Edit > Custom Pattern”, enter the name Bump, and click OK.
5. Create a canvas with a length and width of 980 pixels * 980 pixels, select the paint bucket tool, select the fill mode as pattern in the settings bar, and then select the bump pattern just now. Once the filling is complete, save the texture named Bump and close it.
6. Create a 1000 pixel * 1000 pixel black background canvas and copy the background layer.
7. Set the layer style of the background copy layer, add gradient overlay, and change the color from #03010c to #240333 from left to right. Other settings are shown below.
8. After adding the gradient, the effect is as shown in the picture below.
9. Select the Donut Monster G font and enter the text in the image below. Select #ececec as the text color and 150 points as the text size.
10. Select “Type > Convert to Shape”.
11. Select “3D>New 3D Model from Selected Path”.
12. To operate the 3D layer, you need the 3D panel and its properties panel. You can call up these two panels through “Window > 3D/Properties”.
In the 3D panel, you can find all the elements of the 3D scene. When you select one of the elements, the attribute panel will automatically turn to the attribute panel of the element. Therefore, when you need to operate elements in a 3D scene, make sure to select the correct 3D element.
13. If you select the move tool, you will find that there are multiple options for the 3D mode in the settings bar. Select one of them, drag the mouse to change it, and see the effect. Using this 3D mode, you can change the perspective at will.
14. Select the text layer in the 3D panel, select the grid in the properties panel, set the texture mapping to tile, and the bulge depth to 50.
15. Click the lid in the properties panel, set the bevel width to 2% and the expansion strength to 10%.
16. Select the material in the 3D panel. Then set the mirror color in the properties panel to 135/135/135, shiny 100%, reflection 100%, roughness 10%, bump 20%, and refraction 1.3.
17. Select the front expansion material, click the bump file icon button in the properties panel, select Load Texture, and load the bump material created in Step 1.
18. Click the bump folder button again and select Edit UV Properties.
19. Adjust the UV displacement value, and then the texture just covers the text.
20. After completing the above operations, the effect should be like this.
21. Select the remaining materials, click the Bump folder button, and select Bump texture from the menu.
22. Edit the UV attributes in the same way and cover the text with the material.
23. Select Infinite Light 1 in the 3D panel, set the color intensity to 20% and the shadow softness to 30%.
24. Click Environment in the 3D panel, and then select Replace Texture in the IBL menu.
25. Select and load the Cheering crowd at concert image, then set the color intensity to 30%.
26. Keep operating the environment and use the move tool to change the light source effect until the effect is satisfactory.
27. Select 10637-NMQKXB.jpg from the disco light background material provided in the tutorial, load it, and place it above the background copy. Resize the material according to the size of the canvas, set the blending mode to Linear Dodge, and the opacity to 50%.
28. Select “Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur” and set the radius to 2.7 pixels.
29. Select “3D>Rendering” to render the scene. Rendering takes a while, if you want to terminate it halfway, you can press Esc.
30. Create a Levels adjustment layer in the Layers panel.
31. Click to create a clipping mask and set the color level value to 45/1.00/225, or any other value you feel is appropriate.
32. Select the Brush Tool, select the star brush shown in the picture below, and set the size to 100 pixels. Bring up the properties panel of the brush (Window > Brushes), check Shape Dynamics, and set the size jitter to 50% and the angle jitter to 100%. This way, when you click to add stars, the angle and size of the stars will be different each time.
33. Create a new layer on top of all layers and name the light point. Set the blending mode to bright light, set the foreground color to #eaeaea, and then click on various positions of the text as shown below to create reflective light spots.
34. Add and create gradient mapping.
35. Set the gradient color as shown below, check dither, set the blending mode to color and the opacity to 5%. Here you can set the gradient color and opacity as you like.
