The idea for this effect is to use layer styles to create a nice calligraphy font. Additionally, we went through the process of creating a striped pattern. The purpose of this tutorial is to teach you some techniques that can be applied to your work, not just how to get this design result. I believe this design work is just an example to show you. Now it depends on how you get rid of the spirit
Let’s take a look at the final renderings first:
Step 1
Open photoshop and create a new document. I used a size of 1920×1200 pixels. Then fill the background with a dark color #1f1e1e.
Step 2
Select the background layer, go to Layer Layer Style Gradient Overlay. Choose gray (#707070) and white. Change the blending mode to Multiply and 60% opacity. The style is radial. Make sure the white is in the middle. You can see that the edges of the image become darker after using Multiply. I applied this gradient via a layer style because later I wanted to add a filter to the layer so I could experiment with different colors.
Step 3
Now go to Filter Noise and add noise. Use 2%, Gaussian distribution and make sure you select Solid Color. Adding noise to a gradient is great because it makes the gradient more subtle.
Step 4
Let’s add text. We need a calligraphy style font, I used Champignon, you can download it from /wp-content/uploads/2024/03/19/csbsiznzdzi First enter Abducted .
Step 5
Now type “by” right below “Abducted”. I’m using another font, “Champignon Alt S…” which you can download from /wp-content/uploads/2024/03/19/csbsiznzdzi Refer to the picture below for the position of the letters and try to connect the letters such as “Bs”.
, Step 6 Enter the word Design. Connect the end of y to D. The connection of the letters is very important, otherwise the effect will not be good. Step 7 To make the effect more attractive, let’s add some swirling patterns. This is similar to one of my previous pattern tutorials. But basically, we’re going to import a flower
Step 6
Enter the word “Design”. Connect the end of the “y” to the “D”. It is very important to connect the letters, otherwise the effect will not be good.
Step 7
To make the effect more attractive, let’s add some swirling patterns. This is similar to one of my previous pattern tutorials. But basically, we’re going to import a pattern element and put it in front of the “A”. I use ShutterstocK, you can download it here.
Step 8
Place another element at the end of the “n” in “Design”. I’m using the same element as in the previous step, only it’s a little smaller.
Step 9:
Another pattern is connected to the “Y”.
Step 10
Now that you have your patterned text, convert them into smart objects. This way we can edit at any time. Then go to Layer Layer Style Gradient Overlay. Using pink and blue, the style is linear with a 90 degree angle.
, Step 11 Select the projection after gradient overlay. Use the Multiply blending mode, an Angle of 120 degrees, a Distance of 5 px and a Size of 20 px. Step 12 After setting up the drop shadow select Bevel and Emboss. Use the Inner Bevel style, with Method set to Smooth and Depth set to 190%. Direction is up, size is 6 pixels, softening is 8
Step 11
After gradient overlay select drop shadow. Use Multiply blending mode, 120-degree angle, 5 px Distance and 20 px Size.
Step 12
After setting up the projection select Bevel and Emboss. Use the Inner Bevel style, with Method set to Smooth and Depth set to 190%. Direction is Up, Size is 6 px, and Soften is 8 px. The settings used for the shadows are as follows: Angle 120°, Height 30°. Highlight mode uses Color Dodge and white, with an opacity of 75%. Then the Shadow Mode is Multiply and Black, and the Opacity is 45%. Select the outline.
Step 13
Duplicate the text layer and the first thing to do is change the fill to 0%. This way, there won’t be any color, but the layer style will still work on this transparent layer. Disable gradient overlay. Using Bevel and Emboss, change the direction to down, adding 370% depth. Size 2 pixels, soften 8 pixels. Now looking at the shadow, change the angle to 145° and the height to 25°.The highlight mode is Screen, the color is white, the opacity is 100%, and the shadow mode is 0%.
Step 14
Duplicate the text layer again to make the effect stronger.
Step 15
Duplicate the text layer again but this time let’s edit the Bevel and Emboss. Change Soften to 1 px. Highlight mode uses Color Dodge 70%. Also disables shadows.
,Step 16 Now, let’s create a pattern in the design. Create a new document that is 40 pixels wide and 200 pixels high. Step 17 Adjust the background layer so that its width is 20 pixels. Fill the layer with a linear gradient from white to different transparency colors. Use an opacity gradient from 100% to 40%. Refer to the picture below
Step 16
Now, let’s create a pattern in our design. Create a new document that is 40 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.
Step 17
Adjust the background layer so that its width is 20 pixels. Fill the layer with a linear gradient from white to different transparency colors. Use an opacity gradient from 100% to 40%. Refer to the image below.
Step 18
Go to edit and define the pattern. Name it stripes so you have a nice pattern.
Step 19
Back to our design, add a new layer and fill it with the pattern we created.
Step 20
Rotate the pattern layer and change its blending mode to Soft Light.
, Step 21 Press the command key and click the text layer on the layers panel. In this way, you have created a text layer selection. It’s very simple and useful. After that, go to layer layer mask to reveal the selection. The pattern will be applied only to the text. Step 22 Select all text layers and copy them. Go to Layers and merge the layers. of

Press the Command key and click on the text layer on the Layers panel. In this way, you have created a text layer selection. It’s very simple and useful. After that, go to Layer Layer Mask to reveal the selection. The pattern will be applied only to the text.
Step 22
Select all text layers and copy them. Go to layers and merge the layers. After that, go to Filter Blur Gaussian Blur. Use a Radius of 10 px and press OK. Change the blending mode to Screen, which will add a nice glowing effect to the image.
Step 23
Let’s add some lighting effects. I used a saved photo to create the glow, you can use a brush, or a lens flare filter. The image I used is downloaded here. Place the glow in the design and change the blending mode to Screen. After that, go to Image Adjustments Hue and Saturation. Select Colorize and change the Hue until you get a color that matches the tone of the text, with the light color overpowering the text color.
Step 24
Copy the shine effect and move it to another letter.
, Step 25 Repeat the halo again to move to another part of the design. Go to Image again to adjust Hue and Saturation and select Colorize again and try setting the halo color to match the color of the text. Step 26 Import the paper texture and place it on top of other layers. The image I used is from Shutterstock, you can see it at

Step 26
Import the paper texture and place it on top of the other layers. The image I used is from Shutterstock, you can download it here. Then change its blending mode to Multiply.
Conclusion
You can add a spatial scene like the one below or place it against a cluttered background. Additionally, if you want to add more light, just duplicate all layers and merge them into a new layer, or just press Command + Alt + Shift + E, then apply a Gaussian Blur with a radius of 20 pixels and change the blending mode to Screen .
