This tutorial mainly uses Photoshop to create three-dimensional super cool colorful font effects. In this tutorial, it mainly uses cloud rendering to create various effects, such as light and shadow.
Final rendering:
Dark version renderings:
1. Create a new file and decide the size yourself. The size for this tutorial is 800*600.
2. Set the foreground and background colors to: #F2F2F2 and #E3E3E3, and use the gradient tool to draw a line (you can also set a background gradient color yourself)
3. Enter a word on the canvas and use bold font
4. On the layer where you just entered the text, open the layer blending options and set the various effect values as shown in the figure
Inner shadow
Gradient Overlay
Pattern overlay
5. The adjusted renderings are as follows
6. Copy the three text layers and move them to produce the effect as shown below. Tip: Reduce the transparency and the S at the bottom can be hidden
7. Copy the layer on each text, add a layer mask, and use a soft brush to paint the corresponding position. The effect is as follows. The purpose of this step is to integrate the surrounding areas
8. Copy a copy of any text layer, then copy another layer, and drag this copied layer on top of the original text layer,
Use Filter-Blur-Gaussian Blur-Value 11.1%
9. Blurred effect
10. Create a new layer, name it “Cloud”, use the lasso tool to cover the part, and the feather radius is 25 PX
Filter–Rendering–Clouds (set the foreground color to white and the background color to dark gray) and adjust to the clouds you like
You can also do this with a cloud brush
11. Complete the effect of cloud rendering
12. Create a new layer in the clouds and move it to the bottom
13. Change the mode of these two cloud layers to “Strong Light”
14. Duplicate the cloud layer below S, name it “Shadow”, change the shadow layer blending mode to “Normal” and the opacity to 40%, the effect is as follows:
15. Repeat the clouds on top, name this layer “Light”, rotate it about 60 degrees, and add “Motion Blur” set to Angle 56 Distance 83:
16. Change the layer blending mode of this layer to “Overlay”, repeat it several times and drag, the effect is as follows:
17. In addition to the background stamp layer (ctrl+alt+shift+e), now we can make some fine-tuning, CTRL+L curve as shown:
18. Finally, start coloring. There are many coloring methods. You can try it. For the coloring method in this tutorial, open the layer blending options on the stamped layer–Gradient Overlay–Change the blending mode to “Overlay” and gradient. Choose Color, or you can set the color yourself.
Final effect
Dark version: (adjust background color, adjust brightness)The final effect of and contrast uses filament and texture, you can download the brush to add)
