Use Photoshop to trim edges to create stamp effects. Today we will introduce to you how to create special edges for digital photos and make your own photos into stamp effects. It is both interesting and memorable.
Open a photo that is meaningful to you, the picture file shown in (Figure 1), select the “Rectangular Marquee Tool”, click on the image to create a selection, and get the effect shown in (Figure 2) , press “Ctrl C” key to copy.

Click “File” – “New” to pop up the “New” dialog box, press the “Ctrl V” key to paste, and get the effect shown in (Figure 3). Press the “Ctrl A” key to select all the images, and click the “Generate working path from selection” button in the path control panel to convert the current selection into a path, as shown in the path control panel (Figure 4).

Set the foreground color to white, select the “Brush Tool”, Click the “Brush Preset” button in the Brush Tool Properties toolbar to pop up the “Brush Preset” selector. Set the “Main Diameter” to 18 pixels and the “Hardness” to 100%. Click “Use” in the Path Control Panel. Click the “Brush Stroke Path” button to get the effect shown in Figure 5.

Set the background color to white, click “Image” – “Canvas Size” “command to pop up the “Canvas Size” dialog box, add 50 pixels to the original size of the image. The specific settings are shown in Figure 6. Click the “OK” button to get the effect shown in Figure 7.

In the layer control panel, select the character layer, click the “Add Layer Style” button in the layer control panel, and in the pop-up Select the “Projection” option from the list, see the specific parameter settings as shown in (Figure 8), click the “OK” button, and get the effect as shown in (Figure 9).

Select “Brush Tool”, click “Window” – “Brush” command, the “Brush” dialog box will pop up, click the “Brush Tip Shape” option. Specific parameter settings�See (Figure 10).

Set the foreground color to white, select the “Eraser” tool, and go to Properties Set the “Mode” in the column to Brush, and keep the other settings as default. Click the working path in the Path Control Panel, and then click “Stroke Path with Brush” to get the result (Figure 11).

Select the “Horizontal Text” tool, Enter the desired effect above the layer, see the effect shown in (Figure 12), you can also add a background to the layer according to your own interests, and finally save the image in “JPEG” format and you are done.
