In this tutorial, we use photoshop to create a very dreamy glare wallpaper effect. Different from the past, the author does not use filters to do it, but uses the selected area to make a beam, then deforms and copies it, and finally Add color to create a dreamy effect.
Complete effect
First, create a wallpaper-sized document, such as 1024 * 768 pixels, with the background filled with black. Create a layer, select the Ellipse Option Box Tool and drag out the elliptical selection of P. Press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather 60 pixels.
Second, fill the selection with white, press Ctrl + D to cancel the selection, and press Ctrl + T to flatten it slightly, see P.
Third, select the Rectangle Option Box tool, select the upper half of the ellipse, see P, and press Delete to delete.
Fourth, after canceling the selection, press Ctrl + T to slightly deform it, see P.
Fifth, adjust the angle of the obtained graphics slightly, and the rendering is as follows.
Sixth, copy the obtained beam a little more, and adjust the opacity and size appropriately, see P6 and 7.
Seven, use the same method as above to make a small light beam, see P8 and 9.
8. Create a layer, fill it with color: #000A27, and change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light”. The effect is as follows.
9. Copy the current layer, change the layer opacity to: 70%, and keep the blending mode “Soft Light” unchanged. The effect is as follows.
10. Create a layer and apply a little blue and dark blue color blocks with a brush, see P12. After applying it, change the layer blending mode to “Color”. See P13 for the effect.
