This tutorial introduces a simple color grading method for outdoor pictures. The process is also relatively simple. First, adjust the main color of the picture according to your preference, and then add some complementary colors, highlights, vignetting, etc. appropriately.

1. Open the original image material, press Ctrl + J to copy the background layer, change the layer blending mode to “Multiply”, and change the opacity to: 25%, the effect is as shown below.
2. Create a gradient mapping adjustment layer. The color settings are as shown in Figure 2. After confirmation, change the layer blending mode to “Hard Light” and the opacity to: 30%. The effect is as shown in Figure 3.
3. Create a color balance adjustment layer and adjust the shadows and highlights. The parameter settings are as shown in Figures 4 and 5, and the effect is as shown in Figure 6.
4. Press Ctrl + J to copy the current color balance adjustment layer into two layers. Change the opacity of the top layer to: 30%. The effect is as shown below.
5. Create a curve adjustment layer and adjust the blue color. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 8. After confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 50%. The effect is as shown in Figure 9.
6. Create a gradient mapping adjustment layer. The color settings are as shown in Figure 11. After confirmation, change the layer blending mode to “Hard Light” and the opacity to: 10%. The effect is as shown in Figure 12.
7. Create a new layer, fill it with color: #381855, and change the layer blending mode to “Lighten”. The effect is as shown below.
8. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer. Change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light” and the opacity to: 40%. The effect is as shown below.
9. Create a curve adjustment layer and adjust the blue color. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 15, and the effect is as shown in Figure 16.
10. Create a new layer, change the layer blending mode to “Screen”, set the foreground color to: #471F68, use a brush to apply some highlights to the selected part of the picture below, and appropriately reduce the layer opacity. The effect As shown below.
11. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. Change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light” and the opacity to: 30%. The effect is as shown below.
12. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the yellow and white. The parameter settings are as shown in Figures 19 and 20. After confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 30%. The effect is as shown in Figure 21.
13. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. Change the layer blending mode to “Overlay”, change the opacity to: 30%, hold down the Alt key to add a layer mask, and use a white brush to erase the parts that need to be strengthened. The effect is as shown below.
14. Create a new layer and simply add vignetting to the layer. The effect is as shown below.
15. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, change the layer blending mode to “Multiply”, change the opacity to: 70%, add a layer mask, and use a black brush to erase the middle part. The effect is as shown below.
16. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, and press Ctrl + Shift + U to remove the color. Then execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, the value is 5, after confirmation, change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light” and the opacity to: 60%, the effect is as shown below.
17. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, the value is 15, after confirmation, change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light”, and change the opacity to: 30% , the effect is as shown below.
18. Create a gradient mapping adjustment layer. The color settings are as shown in Figure 27. After confirmation, change the layer blending mode to “Screen” and the opacity to: 25%. The effect is as shown in Figure 28.
Finally adjust the overall color to complete the final effect.
