1. Open the original image material, create a Levels adjustment layer, select the Auto button, and simply adjust the light and dark contrast.


2. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer. Execute: Image > Apply Image, parameter settings are as shown below. The purpose is to deepen the dark parts and open up the light and dark levels of the sky. Then select the black channel transparent gradient and pull it from the lower part of the layer mask toward the middle to remove the unnecessary parts except the sky.



3. Create an optional color adjustment layer, adjust the green and yellow, and set the parameters as shown below.



4. Create a brightness/contrast adjustment layer to make the picture slightly brighter. The parameter settings are as shown below.


5. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. Change the layer blending mode to “Color Dodge” and the opacity to: 48% to further brighten the image. At the same time, add a layer mask to cover the parts of the sky and characters that do not need to be brightened.


6. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the cyan, blue, white, and neutral colors. The parameter settings are as shown below. After confirming, use a black paintbrush to erase the unnecessary parts except the sky.


7. Create a hue/saturation adjustment layer and appropriately reduce the blue saturation. The parameters and effects are as shown below.

And copy the layer, select the Elliptical Marquee Tool to pull out an elliptical selection in the middle of the screen, feather it by 80 pixels, delete the selection content, change the layer blending mode to “Multiply”, and change the opacity to: 70%. Duplicate the layer again and change the opacity to: 33%. The purpose is to enhance the contrast between the upper and lower parts of the picture and highlight the brightness in the middle.

13. Create a new layer, select the gradient from black to transparent, pull the vignetting from the distance to all sides, and change the layer blending mode to “Soft Light”, as shown below.
